#ARCAugust Final Update/ August Wrap Up

Sunday, August 30, 2015

Despite August being a fairly busy month with horses and such, I got most of my list read! I have one book that was on my original list that I didn't get read and in all likelihood, will not get read before Monday!

This week I read:

These Shallow Graves by Jennifer Donnelly. I enjoyed this book quite a bit and my review will be posted closer to the release date!

Young Widows Club by Alexandra Coutts. I liked this one better than I thought I would. This review will also be posted closer to the release date!

So, total for #ARCAugust I read:

1. Mortal Heart by Robin LaFevers
2. What We Saw by Aaron Hartzler
3. The Sisters of Versailles by Sally Christie
4. Court of Fives by Kate Elliott
5. Spinning Starlight by R.C. Lewis
6. These Shallow Graves by Jennifer Donnelly
7. Young Widows Club by Alexandra Coutts

The one book I had on my original list that I probably won't get to was The Witch of Lime Street by David Jaher. Overall, I think I did fairly well.

How did you do on your #ARCAugust list?

  1. o0o I read Court of Fives too but right before ARC August, what did you think of it? I haven't gotten to These Shallow Graves yet and I'm not sure when I will. I want to read Spinning Starlight sooooo bad!

    Great job this month!

    1. I liked court of fives, but I didn't love it. I would read more of the series though! I didn't really like any of the characters. I loooooved Spinning Starlight! It was so good! And I enjoyed These Shallow Graves a lot more than I expected to!

  2. I didn't participate in ARCAugust! But I reviewed 21 books in August - so I probably read about 20-25. Fun times! :D

    1. You were a busy girl! I actually read 8 books because I totally forgot about Cinder, but I don't care enough to go back and fix this wrap up. But good job on the mountain of books you tackled! :)
