Book Haul:

I don't think I've gotten any books this month so far. I am working on saving up money to go to Indiana so I haven't bought any.

I did borrow Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco from Mariam, though!

I talked about Owain Glyndwr in my A Glimpse Back in Time post featuring The Raven Boys!

What's New With Me?

July hasn't been a super eventful month for me. I went on a spending ban to save money for my road trip to Indiana that's coming up soon. It kind of worked and also kind of didn't. I didn't buy any books. The only super frivolous thing I bought was a new purse, but even that wasn't too bad. It was on sale.

Basically the worst things were the fact that as soon as I said NO SPENDING, I got busier at work than expected so ended up buying myself lunch more often than I wanted to because I'm too lazy to pack one.

And also ended up having to take two of my kitties to the vet for abscesses. One of them I had to take twice because he needed an additional antibiotic shot. So that was like $80 bucks.

Let's see... I caught up on Grey's Anatomy. I started watching Sailor Moon. I haven't watched it since I was in like middle school when I watched it on Cartoon Network. I didn't think that the fluffy American version would be so different than the actual show is supposed to be. But it was actually quite a bit different. There are three episodes that I remember well and one of them that I remember REALLY well and it is SO different. Obvioulsy the Real Version is better.

The only difference that I noticed that makes me sad is that the transformation music is different. When I think about Sailor Moon from when I was a kid, one of the things I think about the most is the transformation music. It's a lot prettier sounding, whereas the music in the Real Version sounds more badass and possibly more fitting.

Also, the end of season one made me die a little inside. And so far season two hasn't brought me back to life yet.

That's really about all that is new in my life right now.

How did July go for you? Have you watched Sailor Moon? Are you so ready for season 14 of Grey's Anatomy? I AM!
