October 2015 Wrap Up

So I took the month of October to try and polish off some ebooks that I have been putting off for whatever reason. I told myself I can't read any of the amazing books I've bought recently until I finish at LEAST the imminently publishing Netgalley titles I have and the books I was given for review from the authors.

It was hard, but I was strong. So strong. I bought so many good books, it made me so sad to do this to myself. But enough of my mini pity party.

I read 8 books this month!

So this month I read:

I really enjoyed this book. I got approved for this one on Netgalley really close to the release date so I hopped to this one right away!

This one I read because I requested and got approved for the second one on Netgalley. I requested it because it was listed under New Adult and all the NA books I've ever read had some hanky panky in them, but I was sadly disappointed in this book by the lack of said hanky panky. And also, this book wasn't that great.

This one was an imminent release from Netgalley. It was a mild struggle to read because I didn't like the first one, this one wasn't better, and still nobody was doing it.

This one was another review request from the author. That I got in the beginning of August.. And I really put it off because I did ARC August and mostly I just kinda suck. But I was pleasantly surprised by this book BECAUSE it is probably the best review request I've gotten which renews my faith in review requests!

This was the last book I had that I needed to review for someone! It's really nerdy and cute and was a quick read.

I absolutely adored this book! It was so cute and it made me sad and happy at the same time and if you were thinking maybe you want to read this one (like I was), then definitely make the jump because I loved it.

This book was so good! It's crazy how many feels a person can squeeze into a book that only takes place over the timespan of 54 minutes. Definitely keep an eye out for this one in January!

Also this month, my house was finished. Like all the way. Like there will be no more people dropping by to drop off $1000+ bills and making me want to cry. IT'S DONE! We've been working on this for a YEAR now and it's DONE!

I'm so excited.

We got an antenna for our TV so we got a whopping six channels. I can watch TV in my own house from my own couch! I started watching The Voice and I'm really into those court shows like Judge Judy and The Hot Seat.

My boyfriend spent more money in bookstores this month than I did, but on the plus side, he signed up for memberships to Barnes and Noble and Books-A-Million and gave them to me. I picked a winner.

I've seriously considered getting a new job. I worked two days this week. I'm gonna TRY and hold out for Christmas because it should be busy at my job shipping out Christmas orders, but after that, if it slows down like this again, I'm going to have to find a new job, I can't live like this!

My sister always used to be the one at Christmas who was like lol I'll get you a present someday. This year that is going to be me. I usually have most of my shopping done by now. I have barely gotten started. Oops.
