Shelfie Hop + GIVEAWAY

Monday, November 16, 2015

Today I am participating in the Shelfie Hop hosted by Bookiemoji and My Friends Are Fiction!

I'm excited to share photos of my bookshelf! I am in the process of moving/rearranging my shelves, but right at the moment, I LOVE they way they look! Or, at least I love what I have done.

This is the view you have when you first walk into my addition where I have moved my bookshelf to. I often stand at the doorway and just look at it and say, "THAT is a good looking bookshelf." It's true, my boyfriend often asks me, "Are you just STARING at your bookshelf?" Yes. Yes I am.

This is a closer up picture of my bookshelf. Of course, I just HAD to start taking photos as it was getting dark so you can't see everything SO well, but it makes my twinkle lights look better so it's okay! The bookshelf only contains my hardcovers!

The very tippy top of my bookshelf is most of the very few ARCs I have and the lovely flowery tote is full of the very few swag items I have!

ARCs shown:

The Witch of Lime Street by David Jaher
Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
Zodiac by Romina Russell
Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge
Crimson Bound by Rosamund Hodge
Death Sworn by Leah Cypress
Court of Fives by Kate Elliott
Summer's Child by Luanne Rice
(This last one I actually saved from a rummage sale!)

This is my Alexandra Bracken shelf! My FAVORITE shelf out of all of them! This shelf is missing the HC and PB of Brightly Woven and PBs of The Darkest Minds and Never Fade. What it DOES contain is:

Brightly Woven ARC
The Darkest Minds HC, ARC, and signed PB
Never Fade HC and ARC
In the Afterlight HC
Through the Dark HC
A New Hope: The Princess, the Scoundrel, and the Farm Boy HC and ARC

And the photo is of two of my friends and I after we went to a college dance and I believe this photo is us waiting in the McDonald's drive thru for breakfast at 4 am.

The next shelf down contains:

The rest of my books are mostly just laying around because I am still in the process of arranging them. I do have a large bookshelf in my bedroom that I had a lot of my books on before, but I decided that I wanted them in the addition and I plan to buy another bookshelf like the one pictured to put on the other side of the windows for my paperback books.

In case you're curious about where I got my bookshelf, it's the Room Essentials brand from Target in whatever the brown color is. I think it's espresso.
