4th Annual ARC August Sign Up

Wednesday, July 6, 2016

Hello fellow booknerds! I'm signing up for the 4th Annual ARC August today! I wasn't really going to just because I don't really have all that many right now, but I decided I might as well because it will be a good motivator to get them read!

So here's the list of books I hope to get read:

1. Nevernight by Jay Kristoff
This one I might get to this month, but if I don't it will be my first one I read in August!

2. Wrecked by Maria Padian

3. Spells and Sorcery by S. Usher Evans

4. Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco

5. Arena by Holly Jennings *

6. The Darkest Corners by Kara Thomas *

* Not really a priority for me

I think that's about all the unread ARCs I have so it shouldn't be too tough to get through them! Which is good because I aimed for 16 for ARC April and that was HARD, man!

If you want to sign up for ARC August, check out this page here!

Are you signing up for ARC August? What's your goal? Have you read any of these?

  1. YAASSSSS, you must read Stalking Jack the Ripper! That book is AMAZING, I love it so much! Also, you should totally read Nevernight! Awesome list ^_^ I'm not signing up for ARC August, but I'll going to try getting through my ARC TBR either way XD

  3. Yay! I will be cheering you on. I did this two years ago and I did ARC April this year. I would have done this one too, but I am enjoying my ARC free summer, so I am doing Read.Sleep.Repeat.'s Adult Summer Reading Program instead. I will make sure to visit your update posts. :)

    1. I am hoping to get all of my ARCs read in August so I can move onto the tons of books I've bought in the last year that I haven't gotten around to reading yet. I have at least 11 2016 releases that I've bought and haven't read yet! My list has definitely changed since I posted this! I really need to stop requesting ARCs if I want to be able to finish them all and work on my FCs!

  4. That is why I worked on wrapping up what ARCs I had and not requestiung anymore for this sumer and the first two weeks of September unless it was something I would have bought to read anyway. I had all of these great books and no time to read them! I am loving being able to read what I want so much I am going to do a one ARC a month personal challenge next year, so I can do more "me reading". :)

    1. I should do something like that. I think that would be nice. I love the ARCs, but holy moly do they ever pile up! Why do they all seem to come out at the same time?! But yeah. I need to slow down on the requests!
