I am excited to have finally gotten a copy of The Crown's Game! I have been looking forward to this one for a long time now! It's so pretty! :')

  1. Everyone has been talking about The Crowns Game I hope you enjoy it. The Love That Split the World has been pointed out to have serious flaws in the representation of Native Americans by Own Voices (a diversity group), and the AICL. I always like to know those things before I read a book. It definitely has a pretty cover though. I got my Book Outlet order, but half of it was not books. Ha ha! The two books I did get were the second book in the Mirror World trilogy by Cornelia Funke in hardcover, and the second book in the Fairyland quintet by Valente in hardcover. :)

    1. I did see a thing going around on Twitter about The Love That Split The World and how it isn't a good representation. But I still have to read it because a lot of people have said that it made them cry and I love a book that will make me cry. And I think I saw where the author apologized for her misrepresentation so that's good! I hope that you love the new books you got!

Sadly, I didn't get anything this week, but I'll be diving into a bookstore soon enough. :)
